The last few days of our trips it is always nice to visit areas near Heathrow.  It's a much better option than staying on horrid hotels on Bath Road and only an hour to the car rental return.

Marlow is always a nice stop with some great shops for Grandchildren's clothes.  This year the bridge was closed as it has a weight limit but apparently the driver of a large lorry from Croatia could not read the signs.  While they were checking the integrity of the 1832 suspension bridge it created a lot of parking problems on the Berkshire side of the river.

Janet had heard a lot about Pangbourne but the highlight was the extensive high end car dealers. Obviously people there have money but spend it on their homes and cars.

A great meal at the Crooked Billet, a visit to Henley on Thames and we were off to our last couple of nights at the Dundas Arms at Kintbury.
